Anita Schnoor
“I started working out with Cole at as we all call it “The Barn” 2 years ago in August. Since then, I have lost a few pounds and gained a ton of confidence. I suffered from chronic back pain since 2008 but lifting weights and strengthening my core has made that a thing of the past. Cole is such a great trainer and an all-around nice guy. The community of people that come to Barn Fitness do not judge but rather encourage and lift each other up. My latest accomplishment was completing a Barn Special and then beating my time. I look forward to making and meeting my next goals.“
Shane Monroe
Shane has had an interesting fitness journey here at the Barn. When I first met with him a few years ago, he only wanted to do core training. He had no interest in lifting weights. I talked him into trying a BootCamp (which consists of resistance training), and he got hooked. He took off and put on 20 lbs of muscle! He loves all of the challenges that I have given him, including training for a triathlon, Murph, Barn Special goals, and anything else I throw at him! Shane does five workouts a week with a vest on and is in the best health of his life. He feels like his balance is better, his energy levels are up and is sleeping better at night.

Delaney and Kalli Barber
Delaney and Kalli are both in track and wrestling. Delaney runs cross country, and Kalli plays volleyball. They both completed the Sport’s Performance Program at the Barn. “We both really enjoyed coming to the barn because it helped build up our strength and endurance for our sports, and it was different types of workouts that we don’t usually do in school.”

Tara Terhune
“I started at Barn Fitness in 2021 with Saturday morning Bootcamp and then I added some weekday sessions. The program that Cole has created is nothing like anything you will find anywhere else. I look forward to the different workouts each session, each one challenges you in different ways. My favorite workout is the Pyramids/Punching Bag and Steps. It is a perfect combination of strength training and cardio, plus you get to punch a punching bag, a lot, it’s so fun! Since working out at The Barn, I have built the confidence to push myself to do exercises that I would never have tried because I was so afraid of failing. I have so many more benefits that I have gained from The Barn Program but the greatest one is that my triglycerides and blood sugar have come down from high range to normal range, which that is something I have always struggled with my adult life. I am beyond grateful finding The Barn and having Cole as my trainer and the Barn family!”

Ben and Ariel Jacobs
Ben and Ariel started at Barn Fitness in the Fall of 2021. They decided to do the Quad City Half Marathon in 2022. In order to accomplish this run, they needed to lose weight, tone up, eat healthy and build strength and endurance. They decided to take on weekday and weekend classes at the Barn for motivation. They made it happen even when it wasn’t easy dealing with the commute or organizing the kid and work schedules. They are both in better health as they lowered their cholesterol, have more energy and in better moods. They enjoy the unique workouts like the Barn Tests, Barn Special and the Murph.
Ariel lost 15.25 inches in 6 locations, 6 pounds and 5% body fat! Ben lost 15 inches in 6 locations, 21 pounds and 3% body fat!
Jeff Carstensen
Jeff started at the Barn in August of 2021. He has been really consistent meeting twice per week for regular sessions and doing a Bootcamp and Tabata Class as well. “I set my mind to go to the barn and do the workouts assigned. I pushed my body to the limit each session and have felt better and have seen real changes in my body. Training has helped me to stop smoking and keep my mind off of it. Cole keeps me challenged and motivated as he is always bringing new ideas and methods into the workouts!”
Jeff has lost 22 pounds, 16 inches in 6 locations and 3% body fat since starting at Barn Fitness!
Erin McCaulley
“At the beginning of April 2021, my best friend Angie convinced me to try a Barn Bootcamp Class on Saturday Morning. I was nervous, to say the least, but after a couple of weeks, I was hooked. Cole made the classes fun, and it was different every week. I was not in shape at all but felt welcomed by Cole and all of my new friends in class. I decided to add a weekday session, and I am thankful that I did. I am in better health from training at the Barn by the way my clothes fit, reduced pain in my knees and back and my energy level on a daily basis. I really enjoy the Barn Tests each month to see how far we have come with strength and endurance. The best part is how great I feel and the confidence I am gaining! I encourage anyone who might be on the fence about trying it out because Cole knows how to push us to be the best we can be.”

Jaxton Shimp
Jaxton Shimp, age 12, completed the Sport’s Performance Program at the Barn. “I play football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and run track. These workouts helped me with speed and agility, along with gaining muscle to prepare for my upcoming sports. I really enjoyed working out with Cole, and one of my favorite workouts was the Murph Challenge! I am looking forward to many more sessions at the Barn!”
